Our desire is to provide our customers with their most enjoyable
cycling experience through quality bicycles,
Rainbow Cycles is owned and operated by family of dedicated cyclists.
Daniel and his father Ed, together with their wives, Amy and Judy, are passionate
about serving the cyclists of the mid north coast and catering for all their
cycling needs.
Ed and Judy settled on the Mid North Coast 30 years
again and raised their children in the rural communities of Raleigh and Bellingen.
As the family grew cycling quickly became a large part of family life. Holidays
always meant seven bikes loaded onto an Ed designed and built rack mounted onto
the top of the trailer filled with camping gear. The love and challenge of cycling
is still a family affair with daughters/son-in-laws and grandchildren all being
swept up along the line.
Eventually the eldest son found himself working for
the previous owners of Rainbow Cycles, Wally and Sue Sims. In fact it was Wally who
first introduced the family to mountain biking years previously. Six years later the
current owners bought the business from the Sims. The owners and staff at Rainbow
Cycles are all dedicated and active cyclists collectively participating in social,
club and competitive events:-
